Everyone has a story, and I want you to create yours or add to it! As a single Black mother I always wanted to attend an artist-in -residence program but none were equipped to accept me as a single mother or Black woman. This space is created by me FOR us! My vision is to create a peaceful work/live space for Black women visual artists and writers. This space will allow them to incubate, grow & evolve undisturbed for a period of 14 consecutive days payment free. 12 artists per year will be serviced & I hope to start the first cohort coming soon! Matching grassroots philanthropy with creatives one Black woman artist at a time.
